Volga Gas, a Russian oil and gas explorer listed in London, narrowed its net loss last year to $1.1 million from $16.9 million the previous year, while doubling revenue to $28.6 million and output to an average 2,147 barrels of oil equivalent a day, compared with 1,115 barrels a day in 2010.

The Economic Development Ministry may increase its forecast for Urals crude oil to average about $100 a barrel, from the current prediction for $97, RIA-Novosti reported, citing Deputy Minister Andrei Klepach.
