Alstom said Thursday that it and its partner Transmashholding have received an order for the production of 200 locomotives for Russian Railways worth about 1 billion euros ($1.4 billion).

The Interior Ministry has formally charged former Bank of Moscow chief Andrei Borodin and former vice president Dmitry Akulinin with fraud totaling more than 12.5 billion rubles ($403 million) in absentia, ministry spokeswoman Anzhela Kastuyeva, said Thursday, Interfax reported.

Bank of Moscow received a 295 billion ruble ($9.5 billion) loan as part of its state bailout, the lender said Thursday.
