For the Record

Moscow’s Savyolovsky District Court has scheduled for Feb. 3 a hearing into the case of liberal opposition leaders Vladimir Milov, Boris Nemtsov and Vladimir Ryzhkov, who sued Prime Minister Vladimir Putin for accusing them of corruption during a live broadcast in December. (MT)

Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko vowed not to flee her homeland Monday as she again appeared before prosecutors in part of a wide-ranging corruption probe that has already sent 10 of her senior aides to jail and banned her from leaving Kiev. “Yanukovych is not going to succeed in making me flee somewhere from my own country,” she said.
