Acron said Thursday that it would invest between $150 million and $200 million annually to develop a phosphate mining project and try to cut debt this year as sales recover.
The spending on the Oleny Ruchei phosphate mine will be needed until it reaches peak capacity, with the first part of the operation due to start in May 2012, chief financial officer Alexei Milenkov said.
