The Russian figure-skating legacy has not shone as brightly this year in Vancouver as it has in the past winter Games. For the first time since 1964, a Russian or Soviet team failed to bring home the gold for pair skating, while 2006 men's champion Yevgeny Plushenko came in second to U.S. skater Evan Lysacek last week. Falls by several skaters have further hampered the team's progress, but the athletes' outfits and attitudes have kept audiences watching.
