Uralkali Owner’s Wife Seeks Divorce

The wife of billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev, owner of the $7 billion potash producer Uralkali, has filed for divorce and division of property, including a $100 million Palm Beach villa, the Palm Beach Post reported Tuesday.

Rybolovlev, 41, made his fortune from potash mines in the Ural Mountains and Uralkali’s Belarus-based potash exporter is the world’s biggest.

“In the event that management becomes aware of information regarding it that it believes is price sensitive to the company’s equity securities, we will notify the market accordingly,” Uralkali spokeswoman Larissa Belyayeva said. She declined to comment on the suit.

The newspaper said Yelena Rybolovleva has filed a lawsuit in Switzerland.

Rybolovlev is ranked 59th by Forbes magazine on a list of the world’s billionaires, with an estimated net worth of $12.8 billion. He paid $100 million to U.S. property tycoon Donald Trump for the waterfront property in 2008.
