Ruble Retreats Against Euro As Oil Drops

The ruble weakened the most against the euro since July as oil prices dropped, the Central Bank increased interventions and investors pulled their money from the riskiest assets after Dubai’s debt-delay proposal.

The ruble retreated 1.4 percent to 29.18 per dollar, the currency’s third straight decline against the greenback. It weakened 1.3 percent to 43.98 against the euro, the sharpest decline in four months.
