Dubai to Put Properties on Show at Crocus City

The International Property Show Moscow 2008, a high-profile exhibition aimed at showcasing Dubai real estate, is set to run at the Crocus Expo from Nov. 12 to 15.

"The high potential of Russian-based investors to make large-scale investments into the booming Dubai real estate market has prompted us to bring the 'International Property Show' to their market," Dawood Al Shezawi, the managing director of Strategic Marketing and Exhibitions, the company organizing the conference, said in a statement, the Business Intelligence Middle East news service reported.

"We're expecting a considerable amount of properties to be sold during the events run and looking forward to providing a platform where participants can establish strong personal relationships with worldwide players in the property and investment markets," he said.

Organizers expect the event to attract over 100 exhibitors and more than 15,000 trade visitors. In addition to featuring commercial and residential real estate projects from the United Arab Emirates and other countries, the exhibition will also host providers of personalized services related to the real estate sector.

A preliminary list of exhibitors includes real estate investment consultants Zarooni Dynasty, The First Group, a major regional developer specializing in emerging property markets, and Damac Properties, one of the largest property developers in the Middle East, the exhibition's web site said.

Russian investors are expected to pump over $1.5 billion into the country's property market in 2008, the news service reported.
