Three Teams Tied at the Top in Russian League

BELGRADE -- Champion CSKA reclaimed top spot on goal difference with a 2-0 home win over Spartak Nalchik after neighbors Spartak Moscow and FK Moscow were held to 1-1 away draws.

All three teams have 11 points from five matches after Spartak came from behind to earn a share of the spoils at Tomsk, and FK Moscow could only manage 1 point at struggling Rubin Kazan.

CSKA missed a hatful of chances before Brazilian striker Jo Alves gave the Muscovites a 70th-minute lead and Miodrag Dzudovic's own-goal sealed their win 10 minutes from time.

Spartak missed the opportunity to go clear at the top on Sunday when they drew with Tom.

Tom came out fighting and deservedly took the lead midway through the first half through striker Denis Kiselyov. Spartak, though, showed the fighting spirit that has got them out of trouble more than once this season as they hit back through Artyom Dzyuba in the 72nd minute.

Big-spending Zenit St. Petersburg moved into fourth position 2 points behind the leaders with a 3-0 home victory against 11th-placed Dynamo Moscow.

Argentine striker Alejandro Dominguez, who was a 7 million-euro ($9.46 million) summer signing from Rubin, opened the scoring in the 18th minute.

Pavel Pogrebnyak made it two in the 52nd minute before midfielder Igor Denisov wrapped up the points with Zenit's third in the 74th minute.
