The Dymov No. 1 chain of beer and grill restaurants (pictured) has introduced a new business-lunch deal. On weekdays from noon to 4 p.m. there are two business-lunch choices -- one light and the other more substantial. The light meal costs 290 rubles and includes either a soup or salad plus a hot main with coffee or tea, while the more substantial deal costs 490 rubles and comes with soup, salad, a hot main, Zolotaya Bochka beer and tea or coffee plus a dessert.

The upscale restaurant and banquet hall Next Door has introduced Sunday cinematic brunches. The all-you-can-eat buffet costs 1,600 rubles and offers a wide range of dishes, such as penne with ham, ruccola and sun-dried tomato salads, white asparagus with cream sauce, Parma ham with melon, chicken stuffed with prawn mousse, rice noodles with scallops and vegetables and even hamburgers with tomato and fried potatoes. A large range of desserts is also available, and there's a special deal on Moet & Chandon Brut Imperial champagne -- 600 rubles a glass or 3,000 rubles a bottle. As part of the program, a large screen will be showing children's cartoons and family movies. There are two sessions: noon to 2 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Children under 10 eat for free.

The Kolbasoff chain of beer restaurants is holding a Russian beer festival through to April 21. As part of the celebrations, Kolbasoff is offering such Russian beer snack favorites as Volga crayfish for two people (1,200 rubles for 800 grams), a Kamchatka fish plate for three people (590 rubles) and a festive selection of snacks for three people (580 rubles). A festival beer will also be available (95 rubles a half-liter, 280 rubles for 1.6 liters).

The Swissotel Krasnye Holmy Moscow hotel has a new Asian chef, Dayat, who comes from Indonesia. Dayat has introduced a new sushi and sashimi menu, which can be found in the hotel's Concerto Bar.
