Prichal, an elite restaurant located on the Moscow River outside of town, has opened its winter outdoor ice-skating rink. The rink, which is on the river itself, provides skate hire, as well as an instructor for beginners. For those who need a little warming up, there is an open-air bar on the rink serving gluhwein, grog and hot tea. Also on offer are hot blini with jam, honey or sweetened condensed milk. Skaters who work up a more serious appetite can avail themselves of the grill serving more substantial offerings. The rink works every day, noon to midnight.
