Good things come in threes -- or at least that's now the case with Daikon Sushi and Noodle House , which has just opened its third branch. The new restaurant (pictured) is located on the Garden Ring near the Park Kultury metro station and, like its predecessors, serves Moscow's best range of inexpensive Indonesian and Malaysian dishes as well as a more familiar selection of Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese dishes. Unfortunately for laksa-hungry locals, the new Daikon is not open around the clock (unlike the other two Daikons), just 8:30 a.m. to midnight.

Italian eatery Pasta della Mamma has given birth to a bouncing baby restaurant. The new establishment marks the creation of a chain, as it is the second Pasta della Mamma to appear in Moscow. As in the first restaurant, the menu features five sorts of handmade pasta in three appropriately Italian colors (white, red and green), which diners can mix and match with various sauces. There are also eight varieties of pizza. On weekends there is a children's room with a nanny and amusements for the little ones.

The railway-themed self-service buffet restaurant Vokzal is hosting a photo exhibition in conjunction with the Zheleznodorozhnoye Delo publishing house. The exhibit, which marks the 170th anniversary of Russian Railways, is titled Steel Rhapsody and features photographs of both Russian and Soviet trains and train-related subjects spanning the entire 20th century. The exhibition is open 11 a.m. to midnight and is running until Jan. 10.

November is game season at Homemadecafe . During the course of the month, the downtown eatery is serving such dishes as salad with duck confiture (340 rubles), grilled venison with whortleberry sauce (560 rubles) and sliced rabbit with cauliflower, beans and green peas (420 rubles).

Sundays are tail days at Spanish restaurant Tapa de Comida . Every Sunday, guests can select one of two caudate options. Three hundred rubles buys a half-kilo of ox tail plus a half-liter of beer, while 600 rubles snares a whole kilogram of ox tail and 1.5 liters of beer.
