1. Do not worry about being alone and in the dark.

2. The door is light, does not lock and is not airtight.

3. You can get into and out of the tank as you please.

4. Wear earplugs if you have any problems with your ears.

5. Any way you float is the right way.

6. Physically center yourself in the tank, and experiment with

different arm positions after a while.

7. Keep water droplets off your face as they will cause you to feel external sensations.

8. Try not to shave before you float, and keep water droplets out of your eyes since both will sting.

9. Try not to eat too much or too little before you get in the tank since your stomach will make more noise.

10. Do not have a lot of expectations and preconceptions about the tank -- try to leave those behind and experience the experience.
