Renaissance Capital

Renaissance Capital has announced the appointment of Bob Foresman as deputy chairman. In this role, he is responsible for coordinating client coverage and business origination across Renaissance Capital, as well as for the cross selling of Renaissance Investment Management products by Renaissance Capital.

Foresman joined Renaissance Capital from Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, where he was chairman of the management committee for Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States. Prior to joining Dresdner in 2001, he was head of investment banking for Russia and Ukraine at ING Barings. He ran the Ukrainian Privatization Advisory team of the International Finance Corporation from 1993 to 1995 and was an investment officer with IFC in Washington, D.C., from 1995 to 1997.

Foresman is a graduate of the Harvard University Graduate School of Arts & Sciences (1993), as well as Bucknell University (Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, 1990), and holds a certificate from the Moscow Energy Institute (1989).
