Ufa, Tolyatti Arrests MOSCOW (AP) -- Russian authorities have arrested three Uzbek citizens who are wanted for their alleged involvement in spring terrorist attacks in Uzbekistan that killed 47 people, police officials said Tuesday. Tulkun Babayev, Erkin Babayev and Bakhrom Sultanov were arrested in May and June in Ufa and Tolyatti, Yury Demidov of the Interior Ministry's organized crime department told reporters. Meanwhile, 15 suspected al-Qaida-linked militants reappeared in Uzbekistan's highest court Tuesday on trial for their alleged involvement in the spring attacks. Paper Sues Kiriyenko MOSCOW (MT) -- Novaya Gazeta, which is being sued by Sergei Kiriyenko, the presidential envoy to the Volga Federal District, retaliated Tuesday with a suit against Kiriyenko, Interfax reported.
