Baker & McKenzie



Vladimir Dragunov and Andrei Soukhomlinov have been made partners at the Moscow office of international law firm Baker & McKenzie.

Vladimir Dragunov joined the Moscow office in 1997 and has since been practicing as a banking and financing lawyer. He recently spent two years in Baker & McKenzie's London office.

Andrei Soukhomlinov also joined the Moscow

office of Baker & McKenzie in 1997. He specializes in real estate and construction law. He received his law degree from MGIMO in 1987.

MTS



Andrei Braginsky has been appointed director of public and investor relations and Pavel Nefyodov has been appointed head of public relations at Mobile TeleSystems.

Braginsky was previously director of investor relations at MTS. Before he joined the company in 2002, he worked as a senior analyst at Renaissance Capital, a consultant at J'son & Partners and as an analyst at ING Barings investment bank and at Skate agency.

Nefyodov moved to MTS from Vedomosti daily newspaper, where he was telecommunications and technology editor. Prior to Vedomosti, he was the editor of Business Zhurnal magazine.

Ernst & Young



Michelle Moore and Alexander Sapozhnikov have been appointed partners in the Moscow office of Ernst & Young.

Moore will lead projects in the Technology & Security Risk Services Group of Ernst & Young CIS.

Moore began her career in 1990 in Houston working for a Russian-American joint venture and has since worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Moscow and Amoco Oil Corp. in Houston.

She joined Ernst & Young's Houston office in 1999 and in 2001 she relocated back to Moscow.

Sapozhnikov will lead the Financial Institutions and Capital Markets Group in Ernst & Young's Moscow Corporate Finance Department.

His 10 years of professional experience include capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, valuation advisory services and privatization assistance. From 1997 to 2001 he was based in Ernst & Young's New York office.

Born in Moscow, he holds an MA in applied mathematics.
