Ernst & Young

Ernst & Young has announced that Igor Venediktov has been appointed a tax partner in the CIS. He will focus on international and domestic tax planning projects in the retail, consumer and industrial products group of Ernst & Young. Venediktov's professional profile includes 10 years of consultancy service experience in Russia.

Venediktov started his tax advisory career with BBLP Beiten Burkhard Mittl & Wegener, where he became an international partner. In 2002, he joined the tax practice of Andersen in Moscow as head of the Russian and International Tax Planning Services Group. After the combination of Andersen and Ernst & Young's practices, Venediktov joined Ernst & Young as a senior manager in the tax department.


Exxon Mobil Corp. has appointed Stephen Terni to run its $12 billion Russian project.

Terni is now president of Exxon Neftegaz Ltd., which operates an oil field with 2.3 billion barrels of crude off Sakhalin Island in the Pacific Ocean.

Terni replaces Neil Duffin, who will oversee Exxon's Middle East operations.

Until late 2002, Terni headed Disputada de Las Condes Ltda, Exxon's copper-mining unit in Chile.

Jones Lang LaSalle

Yulia Nikulicheva and Valentin Stobetsky have been appointed associate directors at Jones Lang LaSalle.

Nikulicheva is a senior research analyst, head of the retail consulting and research department, and is responsible for all the company's research activities in Russia and the CIS.

She has also contributed to numerous studies covering locations throughout Russia, the CIS and Eastern Europe.

Stobetsky started his career with the company in 2001 as a senior consultant in the tenant representation department. He holds the certified property manager designation from the U.S. National Association of Realtors.


The American Chamber of Commerce in Russia has announced three new appointments.

Anna Ganeyeva has been appointed policy project manager, David Mallette has joined the chamber as its new committee coordinator and Yulia Radivilova has been appointed AmCham office manager.
