Nemtsov Earned $41,000 Last Year

Union of Right Forces leader Boris Nemtsov earned 1.25 million rubles (about $41,000) last year and has more than 10 million rubles in an account at Alfa Bank, according to information about the income and property of SPS leaders released by the Central Elections Commission on Friday.

Nemtsov, who tops SPS's federal list for the Dec. 7 parliamentary elections, does not own a car, apartment or any land.

Irina Khakamada, who is No. 2 on the list, earned 594,000 rubles last year and owns two Moscow apartments and three cars, the commission said.

The No. 3 candidate on the list, Unified Energy Systems chief and SPS co-founder Anatoly Chubais, declared an income of 29,785,000 rubles last year. He owns land and two houses in the Moscow region as well as a BMW sedan. He has more than 5 million rubles deposited in several banks.

SPS co-founder Yegor Gaidar earned 4.74 million rubles last year and owns a country home.
