VW Awaits Decision MOSCOW (Bloomberg) -- Volkswagen AG, Europe's No. 1 carmaker, expects a Russian government decision on the conditions for opening a car factory in the country, the Financial Times reported Thursday, without citing anyone. Volkswagen wants to make cars from imported kits in Russia, the paper said, without citing anyone. Volkswagen will only invest if Russia lifts restrictions on imports of parts after three years, the paper said. Detlef Wittig, head of sales for the VW brand, told the paper that the investment would be ""in the double-digit million euros."" He said the import restrictions should be removed, the paper said. Foreign-Run Airport? MOSCOW (Bloomberg) -- Aeroports de Paris, the operator of Paris' Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports, is in talks with Russian partners about managing Sheremetyevo, the country's largest international airport, Vedomosti reported Thursday. The paper cited the general manager of Aeroports de Paris' management unit.
