Convicts All Caught ROSTOV-ON-DON, Southern Russia (AP) -- The last of seven convicts who escaped from a jail in southern Russia was caught Saturday, police said. Maxim Balykin was detained in the town of Armavir in the Krasnodar region, the regional police department said. Balykin and six other convicts escaped March 1 while being transported from a court to a jail in Krasnodar. One of the fugitives killed one man and wounded another before being captured Thursday. Three of the convicts were caught Wednesday in the nearby Adygei region, and one was detained shortly after the escape. Late Friday, police captured Igor Zhukov, who was serving a life sentence for multiple murders and whom police characterized as the most dangerous of the escaped convicts. He was found hiding in the laundry room of a military hospital in the center of Krasnodar, said Yury Zuyev, a duty officer at the regional police department.
