World of Health Web Site Might Just Make You Sick

Don't be afraid, herpes.ru is here to help.

Calling itself the "World of Health," it's a useful, if a bit strange, web site devoted to health and beauty -- with a significant portion given to venereal diseases.

The opening page is cheerful enough, with a smiling globe clutching a bottle of pills and the "World of Health" banner.

But the site's links can be quite graphic, and some are downright nauseating -- so bear this in mind when navigating the site, and read the text carefully.

The web site's sections are listed on the right-hand side of the opening page, with information on everything from skin care to abortions.

The diseases section -- although poorly organized (pregnancy is listed as a type of disease) -- is among the site's best features.

The web site's authors have carefully compiled a list of hundreds of diseases divided into different categories. By clicking on a disease, its symptons are listed, along with some frightening statistics.

The site also gives some addresses and phone numbers of clinics where you can go for help.

If the site doesn't answer your questions, send a letter to one of herpes.ru's specialists in the "To the Doctor" section.

Some other useful features include the "Figure" section, which has some good dieting hints along with some good recipes.

But the site carries more than just helpful advice. A stray click of the mouse could reveal some of the most disturbing graphics ever compiled on a web site. Herpes.ru will scare you into safe sex.

But if you're into that sort of thing, Herpes.ru serves up its most frightening image under the "Shocking Photo" section. Click at your own risk.

As incredible as it seems, herpes.ru has its own dating forum, listing the girl's name, age and disease.
