Fuel Export Tariff Hike

The government is to raise export tariffs on gasoline and fuel oil to 25 euros ($22.82) per metric ton, Interfax reported Tuesday.

The tariffs will not apply to Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, which are members of a customs union with Russia.

Interfax said the tariffs would come into force a month after publication but did not say when that would be.

The current export tariffs on gasoline is 20 euros and on fuel oil is 15 euros.
