Enterprising Module

Russia has decided to modify a module it is building for the International Space Station in order to boost revenues, officials said Wednesday.

The segment, called the Enterprise, originally was to be a noncommercial module providing docking and cargo space. However, the state-controlled RKK Energia company that is building the Enterprise has revised plans to include multimedia equipment for various business projects, Energia said.

U.S. company SpaceHab is assisting with the project.
