Go for a Cruise

Take advantage of the sunshine and take a river tour. There is a rich choice of routes around the Moscow River, the Moscow Canal and Klyazma and Khimki reservoirs. Riverboats travel daily from the North River Terminus to Bukhta Radosti, where kids can frolic in the fresh air. Adult tickets cost 50 rubles ($1.80) on weekdays and 100 rubles on weekends. Getting on the Gun

Victory Park is a splendid monument to the nation's victory in World War II. Check out the outdoor war weaponry and fort exposition. Walk the trench. Sit on the famous heavy T-34 tank or examine MI operational helicopters, attack airplanes, the Katyusha Battle Machine and other legendary weapons used in the war. Illuminated fountains are switched on after dark. The park is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. except Monday and the last Thursday of each month. Admission is free. Metro Kutuzovskaya, then walk or take a bus toward the famous triumphant arch. Victory Park's entrance is not far from the arch.

Monkeying Around

Monkey's House at the Moscow Zoo is the first animal gallery in the world, according to zoo management. It introduces the creative work of distinguished artists as well as beginners and offers a new exposition regularly. The animal world is showcased in paintings, sculptures, graphics and photography.
