NICOSIA, Cyprus -- Saudi Arabia will present a technical briefing Wednesday to international firms shortlisted to bid for gas projects in the kingdom, the Middle East Economic Survey said Monday.
Saudi Arabia asked in May international oil firms to present questions on gas investment. The kingdom is confident it will attract $100 billion in energy investment despite competition from rival regional oil and gas powers, which are also opening their door to foreigners.
Senior officials from Saudi Arabia's ministries of oil finance, planning, industry and electricity will brief representatives of foreign oil firms on the country's energy investment initiative and changes in investment and tax regulations.
