Patriarch Greets Relic

MOSCOW -- The head of St. Panteleimon, a physician-martyr revered by Russian Orthodox Christians as a healer, arrived in Russia on Sunday after attracting thousands of believers in Ukraine, Interfax reported.

The plane carrying the relic, encased in an ornate casket, was greeted at Pulkovo Airport in St. Petersburg by Patriarch Alexy II, head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Interfax reported.
