WORLD BEAT: Jerry Hall to Bare All In 'The Graduate'

LONDON -- Texan supermodel Jerry Hall will follow in the footsteps of Hollywood actress Kathleen Turner and appear naked in the hit London stage version of "The Graduate," the Daily Mail newspaper said Tuesday.

The 43-year-old former wife of Rolling Stones front man Mick Jagger will replace Turner in the role of the predatory Mrs. Robinson at the end of July.

"I'm over the moon and cannot wait," Hall told the British tabloid in an interview published Tuesday.

"Mick was quite amazed when I told him. ? He drew a deep breath and was like, 'You're going to take your clothes off?' Then he thought for a moment and went 'Wow!'"

Hall added that Jagger had offered to look after the couple's four children while she performs nightly on the London stage.

Turner, 45, caused a sensation in the British press when "The Graduate" opened in April.

Her portrayal of Mrs. Robinson, the icy-hearted older woman played by Anne Bancroft in the 1967 film, divided critics but brought cheering audiences to their feet at the Gielgud Theatre.

In the play's highlight, Turner drops her towel to bare all for a few seconds in the famous seduction scene that saw Bancroft tantalize Dustin Hoffman with just a flash of stocking-clad leg in the movie.
