Mir Crew Descending

MOSCOW -- The two-man crew aboard the space station Mir is to return to Earth on June 16 after more than two months spent aboard in a mission to resuscitate the spacecraft, a report said Wednesday.

The next mission is planned for October or November, Interfax said, citing mission control.

Cosmonauts Sergei Zalyotin and Alexander Kaleri boarded Mir on April 6, after the space station had been unmanned for eight months. They fixed a small air leak and performed other maintenance work.
