WHAT IS TO BE DONE?

Clash of the Gods

As the modern-day titans scramble for a place in Vladimir Putin's government, watch the Titans of antiquity battle it out with Zeus for control of Mount Olympus in the one-act ballet titled "Zeus." After Zeus conquers all - except, perhaps, Leda's heart - stick around to see the one-act ballet "Fantastic Symphony," set to the music of Hector Berlioz. The show is at 7 p.m. at the Kremlin Palace. Entrance through Trinity Gate. Metro Alexandrovsky Sad. Tel. 917-2336.

A Fresh Scene

Looking for modern music with a young crowd? Come see Andrei Razin's Second Approach Project at Moscow State University. Featuring the lively saxophone of Mike Ellis, this concert will surely provide an experience to match the season. The show begins at 6 p.m. The Moscow State University Culture Center is at the MGU Main Building, Vorobyovy Gory. Metro Universitet. Tel. 939-1362/1170.

Weight of Commitment

Life may indeed be filled with difficult choices, but such an extreme decision as Nikolai Gogol poses in his play "The Marriage" goes beyond even the excessive wanderlust of the majority of cold-footed fiance?s: Thinking he wants to marry, the protagonist decides rather to fling himself from a window. "The Marriage" (Zhenitba) begins at 7 p.m. at Theater Na Pokrovke at 50/2 Ulitsa Pokrovka. Metro Kurskaya. Tel. 917-0263.
