MOSCOW -- Russia has adopted a resolution extending indefinitely the current export tariff on ferrous scrap metals of 15 percent but no lower than 15 euros ($14.15) per ton, a government spokeswoman said Tuesday.
The resolution, which also extends the 5 percent tariff on exports of ferrous metals shavings and filings, will come into effect one month after official publication in the government gazette, which is expected within 10 days.
The tariffs were previously set for six months at the end of October.
