Oil Exports Up 11.8%

MOSCOW -- Crude-oil exports outside the Commonwealth of Independent States rose by 11.8 percent in the first two months of this year to 19.9 million metric tons, Trade Ministry data showed.

The data, prepared by the ministry's economics department and made available Monday, showed oil-product exports fell sharply in the same period in comparison with last year.

Product exports outside the CIS were down 22 percent in comparison with the first two months of last year, with a 13.4 percent drop in deliveries to CIS countries.
