Less Than Zero

If you like Ireland's Pogues, you would probably have enjoyed Nol, or Zero, when the St. Petersburg band was fronted by Russia's answer to Shane MacGowan, Fyodor Chistyakov. Alas, Chistyakov has resurfaced after some difficult years - during which he suffered from drug addiction and was suspected of trying to kill his girlfriend - without Zero. He'll perform a solo concert Tuesday at 10:30 p.m. at the Chinese Pilot Dzao Da club, located at 25 Lubyansky Proyezd. Metro Kitai-Gorod. Tel. 924-5611.

Wild Wild Will

Chances are, you've heard the popular song by Will Smith. Despite rumors to the contrary, it turns out the movie it was written for, "Wild Wild West," is actually more than just an extraordinarily long music video. Starring Smith and Kevin Klein, the comedy will play at 7 p.m. at the American House of Cinema, in the Radisson Slavjanskaya Hotel, located at 2 Berezhkovskaya Naberezhnaya. Metro Kievskaya. Tel. 941-8747.

The Real Ghetto

If you've an appetite for something considerably weightier, visit the Israeli Film Festival's showing of "The King and the Jester," Yossi Godard's partially animated docudrama about the Lodz ghetto. The film plays in Hebrew with Russian subtitles at 7 p.m. at the House of Cinematographers, located at 13 Vasilyevskaya Ulitsa. Metro Belorusskaya. Call the Israeli Embassy at 230-6799 or 230-6700 for tickets.
