WB Loans Turkey

ANKARA, Turkey -- The World Bank said Monday it had agreed with Turkey on a $750 million economic-reform loan and planned to present it to the bank's board next month.

"The board of the World Bank is expected to discuss the loan on April 11," a written statement from the bank's Ankara offices said. The money is designed to help Turkey during reforms of public finance, and the agriculture, energy and pension sectors.
