WHAT IS TO BE DONE?

Flying High

Don't miss out on the Moscow Aviation and Space Exhibition, held through Sunday at Zhukovsky air base. The fourth international air show features more than 430 companies, with jet fighters and other military flying machines aplenty. The base is located 35 kilometers east of Moscow and can be reached by going to Metro Vikhovna and taking the train to Otdykh, where a shuttle leaves from the bus stop across the street, taking you all the way to the airfield. The show runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and entry costs 50 rubles.

Comedic Delight

The Moscow theater season has an early treat with Louis Verneuil's contemporary comedy, "My Crime." They wouldn't tell us the plot at the theater, but the finale is supposed to be quite something. Svetlana Bragarnika and Oleg Gushchev star. The curtain rises Friday night at 7 p.m. at the Gogol Theater, 8A Ulitsa Kasakova. Tel. 262-9214. Metro: Kurskaya.

For Rock Lovers

If you're not up for the jazz festival that kicks off Friday night in the Hermitage Gardens, get down to the rock 'n' roll tunes of underground Russian band Obermaneken, which will present its "Dandyism and Romantics Program" Friday night at the Bedniye Lyudi club. The gig starts after 10 p.m. The club is located at 11/6 Bolshaya Ordynka. Tel. 951-3342. Metro: Tretyakovskaya.
