WHAT IS TO BE DONE?

All That Jazz

"Jazz-mood painting," an exhibit featuring the work of Moscow artist Marina Zager, opens Wednesday to the accompaniment of live jazz in Hall 21 of the Central House of Artists. Zager, who had no artistic training, took up the brush only two years ago, and her work has since been shown in Brussels, Paris and Israel. If her loud and undeniably jazzy style seems slightly over the top, the museum's other 30-odd halls also have plenty of new exhibits, including paintings and photographs in Hall 1 by the Russian Realist Pavel Radimov (1887-1967). The Central House of Artists is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at 10 Krymsky Val. Tel. 238-9634. Metro: Park Kultury/Oktyabrskaya.
