Norilsk Shipments Start

MOSCOW -- Russia's nonferrous metals giant Norilsk Nickel has restarted cargo shipments from the arctic port of Dudinka, closed since May 21 by the breaking up of ice, Norilsk said in a statement Friday.

"The cargo ship Kapitan Bochek, with over 17,000 tons of copper, nickel and cobalt on board, set off Monday to Western Europe," the statement said. "The vessel Kola sailed from Dudinka to Murmansk last Saturday with a cargo of matte."
