Star Makes Ad Blunder

MOSCOW -- CSKA Moscow captain Sergei Semak got himself into hot water with Russian soccer officials for inadvertently mixing Pepsi and Coke.

Pepsi-Cola, CSKA's sponsors, chose the popular Russian national team member for their local television advertising campaign.

However, the move did not go down well with rival Coca-Cola, which sponsors the Russian national side.

Vyacheslav Koloskov, president of the Russian Soccer Union, said Coke's contract with the union 0prohibits national team players from doing advertisements for other soft drink companies.

"Our problem is that we're still very much illiterate when it comes to specific contract language," Koloskov said.
