Here Comes the Rain


"Rainmaker," Francis Ford Coppola's 1997 drama starring Matt Damon and Danny DeVito, is showing at Strela Movie Theater on Wednesday. A young attorney (Damon) tries to help an elderly couple whose insurance company refuses to pay for an operation that could save their son's life. Playing With Jazz


"Six, Sax, Sex," a new play directed by Sergei Vinogradov, dedicated to Charlie Parker and based on Julio Kortasar's story "The Prosecutor," is being performed at the Commonwealth of Taganka Artists at 7 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday at 76 Zemlyanoy Val. Art Theater's 100 Years


The Bakhrushin Theater Museum is hosting an exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Moscow Art Theater, or MKhAT, featuring costumes, posters, photographs, manuscripts and scenery sketches by famous Russian theater artists. The exhibit runs until March 15 and can be seen daily, except Tuesday, from noon to 7 p.m. at 31/12 Ulitsa Bakhrushina.
