Joint Aid to Yugoslavia

MINSK, Belarus -- President Boris Yeltsin and Belarussian President Alexander Lukashenko agreed Tuesday to coordinate aid to Yugoslavia, Lukashenko's press service said.

"The sides agreed [in a telephone conversation] to coordinate activity as far as providing the necessary aid to Yugoslavia and the victims of NATO missile and bomb strikes," the statement said.

It said Yeltsin and Lukashenko had also reviewed progress on closer integration between their countries.
