This Is Your Life


On Wednesday the Cinema Center is showing "The Truman Show," Peter Weir's 1998 film starring Jim Carrey in the award-winning role of an insurance salesman who discovers that his entire life has actually been a television show. A Bureaucratic Comedy


"The Inspector General," a classic comedy by Nikolai Gogol about a shyster who is mistaken for a government official, will be playing at Armen Dzhigarkhanyan Theater. Directed by Sergei Gazarov, it stars Ilya Bledny, Vladimir Kapustin, Alexander Bukharov and others. The show begins at 7 p.m. Wednesday at 4/15 Ulitsa Kooperativnaya. Dr. Nick in Krizis


Head off to Krizis Zhanra, a popular Moscow bar hidden in the basement of an apartment building, to hear Dr. Nick, a five-person band with an English female vocalist playing covers of Bob Marley, Neil Young and Bob Dylan.
