LONDON -- Kevin Spacey was named best actor Wednesday by the London Critics' Circle for his performance in a stage revival of Eugene O'Neill's "The Iceman Cometh."

He reprises the part on Broadway later this season.

Sinead Cusack won for best actress ("Our Lady of Sligo"); Howard Davies for best director ("The Iceman Cometh" and "Flight"), Michael Frayn for best play ("Copenhagen"); and the Royal National Theater revival of "Oklahoma!" for best musical.

Most promising playwright went to 26-year-old Rebecca Prichard for "Yard Gal."
