Family Labyrinth

The Timiryazev Biological Museum offers its young visitors and their parents the opportunity to get acquainted with its collection through a fascinating biological game, Family Labyrinth. The game helps children learn about animals, plants, man and the early days of our planet. You can play the game Saturday at noon, 1 p.m and 2 p.m. at 15 Malaya Gruzinskaya Ulitsa. Admission to the museum is 8 rubles (35 cents) for adults and 3 rubles for children, students and pensioners. Children can play the game for 10 rubles. Tel. 252-3681. Nearest metro: Barrikadnaya.

Calling All Cat Fanatics

To find out more about cats take your child to the Cat Museum, which is hosting a "Cat's Eye" exhibition. The exhibit features various paintings, drawings, sculptures, ceramics, tapestries, costumes and appliqu? works, as well as books, souvenirs, cards and many other items about cats.

The museum is open from noon to 5 p.m. daily, except Monday, and is located at 109 Rublyovskoye Shosse, Building 1. Call 141-5424 to make reservations. Admission is 10 rubles for adults (44 cents), 5 rubles for students, schoolchildren and pensioners, and free for children under 7. Nearest metro: Molodyozhnaya.

Fruits and Veggies Delight

See "The Adventures of Cipollino," a play based on a charming Italian tale by Gianni Rodari with characters who bear the names and features of fruits and vegetables. The play is being performed at the Russian Army Theater at noon Saturday and Sunday on the small stage at 2 Suvorov Square. Tickets are 20 to 25 rubles (86 cents to $1.10). Tel. 281-5120.
