Launch Delayed

MOSCOW -- The launch of four U.S. commercial satellites aboard a Russian booster rocket was postponed Tuesday because of a malfunction in one of the satellites' systems, a news report said.

The launch of the Globalstar satellites aboard a Russian Soyuz rocket has been moved from Monday to Tuesday, as the Americans have decided to replace the faulty system, Itar-Tass reported, citing sources in the Russian Space Agency.

The satellites will be carried into orbit from the Baikonur Cosmodrome, which Russia rents from Kazakhstan.
