WHAT IS TO BE DONE?

Twice as Frightening

Have a pre-New Year's scare Tuesday at the Rolan Hall theater at "Scream 2." Two years have passed since the grisly events in Woodsboro and the cycle of death is set to begin all over again in this, the second in Wes Craven's chilling "Scream" series. Movie shows at 5 and 9:30 p.m. at Rolan Hall, which is located at 12A Chistoprudny Bulvar. Metro: Chistiye Prudy. Tel. 916-9190.

Blowing a Celtic Air

If you're more in the mood for a blast from the (very distant) past than a scare, head to Vermel at 10 p.m. Tuesday for a performance by Moscow's favorite Celtic music band, Si Mhor. These 20th-century Celts promise plenty of wind instruments, but don't hold your breath waiting for the appearance of Runes. Vermel is located at 4/5 Raushskaya Naberezhnaya. Metro: Novokuznetskaya. 10 p.m. Tel. 959-3303.

Yesterday Seen Today

This is the sixth exhibit of the work of Glazunov, one of Russia's best-regarded contemporary artists, at this museum alone. The Manezh is located at 1 Manezh Square and is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays. Metro: Okhotny Ryad. Tel. 202-8976.
