Iraqi Oil Allocated

LONDON -- The United Nations by Monday morning had approved nearly 75 million barrels in 14 Iraqi oil contracts under the new seventh phase of the United Nations oil-for-food deal, industry sources said.

New contracts for Tupras, Lubna, Repsol, Petrovietnam and Zangas have been cleared, while Agip's contract was increased by 1 million barrels, they said.

Russian firms holding contracts are Zarubezhneft at 12 million barrels, Mashinoimport at 6.5 million barrels, Zangas at 5 million barrels, Tatneft at 5 million barrels, LUKoil at 4.5 million barrels, and Alfa Eco at 2 million barrels.
