Brisk Tours

Quick! While the snow is still fresh and the brisk weather still novel, visit one of Moscow's great outdoor spaces like the Tsaritsyno estate. Another tsarist folly like the Kremlin's tsar bell and cannon, the estate was started under Catherine the Great and never completed. It is now reputedly cursed, so be warned. The estate, which hosts a crystal museum and a concert hall, is located at 1 Dolskaya Ulitsa and is open Wednesday to Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Metro: Tsaritsyno. Tel. 321-6366/0743.
