He's Back


After three years of silence - you noticed, certainly - Arnold Schwarzenegger is back in "End of Days." And taking advantage of our non-computer-related pre-millennial anxiety, his foe is the Devil himself. Satan, of course, doesn't have a prayer. The film is showing at the American House of Cinema at 7 and 9 p.m Tuesday. The theater is located in the Radisson Slavjanskaya Hotel at 2 Berezhkovskaya Naberezhnaya. Classic Social Climbing


Moli?re's "The Bourgeois Gentleman," the comic tale of a narcissistic social climber, will be performed Tuesday at the Stanislavsky Drama Theater. This production has been brought to Moscow by St. Petersburg director Semyon Spivak. The theater is located at 23 Tverskaya Ulitsa and the show starts at 7 p.m. Metro: Tverskaya. Ballet Interpretations


Two one-act ballets will be performed Tuesday at the Pushkin Theater: The first is a dance interpretation of Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's opera "The Golden Cockerel;" the other, "Arlesian," is set to music by George Bizet that he wrote for a play of the same name.
