Fuel Limits to Stay

MOSCOW -- Russia will extend fuel oil export restrictions set to expire Sunday beyond Monday, Deputy Fuel and Oil Minister Alexander Kochnev said Friday.

He said at a news conference that generally companies would be allowed to export 10 percent of refined fuel oil, keeping 90 percent for the domestic market: "There will be no 100 percent restriction on fuel oil, but the 10 to 90 percent proportion will on the whole continue from Nov. 1."

Kochnev said restrictions would be in force until the end of 1999.
