The Ape-Man Returns


"Tarzan and the Lost City," Carl Schenkell's 1998 adventure film, stars Casper van Dien as Tarzan as he returns to his African homeland to save it from destruction. The film shows in English with Russian translation via headphones at 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at the American House of Cinema at the Radisson Slavjanskaya Hotel, 2 Berezhkovskaya Naberezhnaya. Playing With Sadism


See Peter Weiss' play "Marat/Sade," the full title of which is "The Persecution and Assassination of Jean-Paul Marat by the Inmates of the Asylum of Charenton under the Direction of the Marquis de Sade." Starring Felix Antipov and Valery Zolotukhin, the play is directed by Yury Lyubimov and starts at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Taganka Theater at Taganskaya Ploshchad. Christmas Skiing


The Orthodox Christmas Sports Holiday is being held Thursday at Sparrow Hills. Included in the program is ski-jumping starting at 10 a.m.; downhill skiing and snow-boarding at 11 a.m.; free-style and sport fashion show at 2 p.m.; and the traditional Christmas cross-country ski race begins at 6 p.m. The events take place at the sports complex at 28 Ulitsa Kosygina.
