Love on the Rocks

LONDON -- With their marriages ending nastily, being the oldest swingers in town is no fun any more for Mick Jagger and Rod Stewart.

Jagger, pouting and strutting with the Rolling Stones, once famously wailed, "I can't get no satisfaction."

That now sounds more like the theme son g of his wife, Texan model Jerry Hall, who has filed for divorce from her 55-year-old husband.

Amid allegations that a Brazilian model is expecting Jagger's child, Hall has hired the same lawyer who negotiated Princess Diana's divorce from Prince Charles.

Jagger is contesting Hall's divorce petition by claiming the couple were never married. Jagger's lawyers are expected to argue that the religious part of the 1990 marriage ceremony was completed but not the civil part.

"Do you think I'm sexy?" Rod Stewart once sang. Now his wife, New Zealand-born Rachel Hunter, has replied with a resounding "no" after separating from the raspy-voiced 54-year-old.

Stewart, famed for his raunchy onstage image and lifelong fascination with beautiful blondes, is heartbroken, hoping they can patch up their differences.

"I still love Rachel very, very much indeed and I hope and pray that she will eventually come back," he tearfully told one British tabloid from his Beverly Hills mansion in California.
